Weekly Service:
  •  9:00 am Worship Service
  • Children's Church immediately following the children's sermon available for all children ages 3-10.  Children 2 years and under are welcome but must have someone stay with them.
  • 10:15 am Adult Sunday School in sanctuary
  • 8:00 am Adult Discussion Group in the basementdiscussing our way through the Bible.

ALL SAINTS SUNDAY 
On the 1st Sunday of November, we remember those who have passed during the past year. If you have a name that you would like recognized, a clipboard in the narthex will be available during the first 3 weeks of October. 


Thank you to everyone who donated crayons & helped assemble the Lutheran World Relief School Kits on September 8th.  We collected 746 boxes of crayons & the extras will go to Join Hands & to use to make more LWR kits.

Busy Bags - For youngsters to use during church service as needed.  These are found in the Narthex.




 Grocery Cards Fundraiser: 
The holidays are just around the corner. If you are looking for a gift for someone, why not choose a gift card from Karns or Giant. Our church sells these cards as a fundraising project. For more information contact Jane Simonton at 582-4876 (Karns' cards) or Peg Kingsborough at 582-2025 (Giant cards). Please allow two weeks for special orders.  Messiah Church receives $5.00 for every $100 of cards sold.Consider using grocery cards for holiday gift ideas!
Community Aid Collection Bin Fundraiser:  Messiah Church receives 4 cents per pound for clothing.  Our congregation gets paid by the pound for all clothes donated. What isn't sold in the stores is shredded to make bedding for third world countries. We benefit with organized storage and those in need benefit with reasonably priced clothing and a soft place to lay their head! No reimbursement for household items.  As you clean out your closets this Fall, consider bringing your unwanted clothing to our parking lot bin.
